RTP (return to player) is the share of all money staked on a game that it pays back over a very large number of rounds. A 97% RTP game returns $97 for every $100 wagered on average, and keeps $3 as the house edge. The ten games below have some of the highest published RTPs you will find at mobile casinos: five slots, three crash games and two instant games.

A higher RTP lowers the average cost of playing. It does not tell you how often a game pays or how large the wins are; that is volatility. Read our guide to RTP at mobile casinos for the full picture, and the house edge guide for how RTP turns into cost.

The 10 games at a glance

RTPs are the figures the studios publish for each game. Some studios supply casinos with more than one RTP version of the same game, so check the figure in the game's info or help screen before you play. On a phone, that screen is usually behind the "i" or menu icon.

1. Ugga Bugga: 99.07% RTP

Playtech publishes a 99.07% RTP for Ugga Bugga, the highest on this list. Ugga Bugga is not a standard five-reel slot. You can hold symbols in place between spins and respin the rest, which gives you a decision to make on each round.

It is a low-volatility game, so wins come often and tend to be small. The tribal theme and simple layout keep the screen readable on a phone. Check the help screen for how the hold feature works before you stake real money.

2. Mega Joker: 99% RTP

Mega Joker by NetEnt is a classic fruit machine with a published RTP of 99%. It uses two sets of reels: wins from the lower game can be moved up to the Supermeter mode, where you play at higher stakes for larger prizes. The game also carries a progressive jackpot.

It has 3 reels and 5 paylines, and NetEnt rates it high volatility. Expect long runs without a win between larger payouts, and keep the stake at a level you can hold through them.

3. Book of 99: 99% RTP

Book of 99 by Relax Gaming has a published RTP of 99%. It is a 5-reel, 10-payline slot rated high volatility. It follows the "Book of" format: scatter symbols trigger free spins, and an expanding symbol in the bonus round covers whole reels.

The free spins round is where most of the game's return sits, so base-game spins can feel quiet. That is normal for a high-volatility slot.

4. 1429 Uncharted Seas: 98.6% RTP

Thunderkick publishes a 98.6% RTP for 1429 Uncharted Seas. The slot has a nautical theme with an old sea-chart look, and the artwork scales well to a phone screen.

Thunderkick does not list a volatility rating for it in our data, so try it in demo mode first to see how often it pays at your stake.

5. Blood Suckers: 98% RTP

Blood Suckers by NetEnt is a vampire-themed slot with a published RTP of 98%. It has 5 reels and 25 paylines and is rated medium volatility.

There are two bonus features: free spins with multiplied wins, and a pick-and-win bonus game where you choose coffins to reveal prizes. Medium volatility makes it a steadier choice than Mega Joker or Book of 99.

6. Aviator: 97% RTP

Aviator by Spribe has a published RTP of 97%, the highest of the three crash games here. A plane takes off and a multiplier climbs. You cash out before the plane flies away to win your stake times the multiplier; if it leaves first, you lose the stake.

You can place two bets on the same round and set auto bet and auto cashout for each, which suits one-handed play on a phone. A live panel shows other players' bets and cashouts, and there is an in-game chat. Spribe released it in 2018 and rates it medium volatility.

7. Spaceman: 96.6% RTP

Spaceman by Pragmatic Play is a crash game with a published RTP of 96.6%. A spaceman flies off as the multiplier rises, and you cash out before he drops out of the round. It came out in 2023 and is rated medium volatility.

Spaceman has auto cashout, so you can set a target multiplier before the round and let the game pay out when it gets there. That removes the need to tap at the right moment on a small screen.

8. Pine of Plinko: 96.5% RTP

Pine of Plinko by Print Studios is an instant game with a published RTP of 96.5%. It takes the Plinko idea, a ball dropping through a board of pegs into prize slots at the bottom, and adds a pine-forest theme. Print Studios rates it high volatility.

Each drop is decided by chance, not by your timing or aim. Our Plinko guide explains how the board and the payouts work.

9. Big Bass Crash: 96.5% RTP

Big Bass Crash by Pragmatic Play brings the Big Bass fishing theme to a crash game, with a published RTP of 96.5%. It follows the standard crash format: a multiplier rises, and you cash out before the round ends to keep your winnings. It came out in 2023 and is rated high volatility, unlike Aviator and Spaceman.

Auto cashout and a live list of other players' bets are part of the game, as in most crash titles. You will find it at many mobile casinos, including the ones in our list of high-RTP games on 1xBet.

10. Mines Dare to Win: 96% RTP

Mines Dare to Win by Hacksaw Gaming is an instant game with a published RTP of 96%. It plays like Minesweeper: you uncover tiles on a grid, each safe tile raises your prize, and hitting a mine ends the round and loses the stake. You can cash out after any safe tile.

Where the mines sit is random, so no picking pattern improves your odds. What you control is how many tiles you open before cashing out, which sets how much a round can win or lose. Hacksaw rates it medium volatility, and stakes run from $0.20 to $100 per round. See our Mines guide for the rules.

How to use RTP when you pick a game

  • Compare RTPs within a game type. Among the slots here, Ugga Bugga, Mega Joker and Book of 99 sit at 99% or above. Among the crash games, Aviator has the highest figure.
  • Check the version. The RTP in the game's help screen is the one that applies at that casino. If it is lower than the studio's top figure, the casino runs a lower-RTP version.
  • Match volatility to your budget. Low-volatility games such as Ugga Bugga pay small amounts often. High-volatility games such as Mega Joker, Book of 99 and Big Bass Crash can go many rounds without a win.
  • Remember the time scale. RTP is measured over millions of rounds. A single session on your phone can end well above or well below it.

Fast games such as crash and Mines let you place many bets in a few minutes, which adds up the house edge quickly. Set a budget before you start and use your casino's deposit limits; our responsible gaming page lists the tools.
