Roulette has been played for generations, and a phone lets you play it anywhere. Experienced players use betting systems to make better-planned decisions, even though the game runs on luck. This guide explains five advanced systems and how to apply them on mobile. If you need the rules first, start with how to play mobile roulette.

Labouchere

Labouchere is a progressive system for winning back losses step by step. You choose a target win and split it into a sequence of numbers that add up to it, for example 1-2-3-4 for a target of 10 units.

  • Each bet is the sum of the first and last numbers in the sequence (1 + 4 = 5 units).
  • If you win, cross both numbers off.
  • If you lose, add the amount you lost to the end of the sequence.
  • The run ends when every number is crossed off and you have reached the target.

It gives your session a clear structure on mobile, but a long losing run makes the sequence and the stakes grow quickly. Set a maximum stake and a stop point before you start.

Reverse Martingale (Paroli)

The Reverse Martingale raises your stake after a win instead of after a loss, the opposite of the Martingale. The idea is to make the most of a winning run: double after each win, and go back to your base stake after a loss or after a set number of wins, such as three.

Losses stay small because you only risk what you have just won. The catch is that winning runs are short and rare, so most sessions end with the streak giving back its gains.

James Bond strategy

The James Bond system covers a large part of the table with one fixed spread of 20 units on European roulette:

  • 14 units on high numbers, 19–36.
  • 5 units on the six-line 13–18.
  • 1 unit on 0.

That covers 25 of the 37 numbers, so you win about two spins in three. A result from 1 to 12 loses all 20 units. It makes for an exciting session on mobile, but the house edge stays the same.

Voisins du Zéro

Voisins du Zéro ("neighbours of zero") is a call bet on European roulette that covers the 17 numbers that sit between 22 and 25 on the wheel, around the zero: 22, 18, 29, 7, 28, 12, 35, 3, 26, 0, 32, 15, 19, 4, 21, 2 and 25. The standard bet uses 9 chips spread over splits, corners and a trio.

Covering almost half the wheel gives you a frequent win on each spin, with a more targeted spread than James Bond. Many mobile roulette games have a racetrack or a call bet menu that places it in one tap.

Sector betting

Sector betting backs sections of the wheel rather than single numbers. The theory is that small defects in a physical wheel make some sections land more often. Over a long period, real wheels at land-based casinos can show a slight bias.

RNG roulette on your phone has no physical wheel, so there is no bias to find. Live dealer wheels are checked and replaced regularly. Treat sector betting online as a style of play, not as a way to win.

Combining strategies

You can combine systems into a more flexible plan, for example a Labouchere sequence for your base stake with a Reverse Martingale on winning runs. Whatever you combine, keep to a budget: the main aim of a system is to make the session more structured and more fun. Every system still loses the house edge over time, so stick to European roulette where you can.
