In Three Card Poker, players place an ‘ante’ bet, after which they are dealt three cards. The player can then decide whether to ‘fold’ or ‘play' their hand. If the player’s hand is higher than the dealer’s qualifying hand, they will be paid out according to the pay table. If the player’s hand is lower than the dealer’s qualifying hand, then the player loses their ante and their play bet.
When the game starts, the player will be dealt three cards face up, while the dealer will also be dealt three cards, two face down and one face up. The player then decides whether they want to play or fold. If they choose to play, then they must place a wager that is at least equal to their ante bet.
The player can then decide whether to place a ‘pair plus’ wager or not. This is an additional wager that pays out if the player has a pair or better. If the player has a pair or better, they will be paid out according to the pay table.
