Casino apps in Spain 2026: APK download, Google Play and RGIAJ

Google Play carries casino apps in Spain only from operators licensed in Spain. A casino licensed abroad reaches Android phones here as an APK from its own site, or through the browser. We list the casinos that accept players from Spain and show which have an Android app.

Online casinos are legal in Spain under a licence, and the market is open to any operator that meets the rules. In Spain, Ley 13/2011, de 27 de mayo, de regulación del juego sets the rules. You must be 18 or older to play online in Spain.

Check the licence on each row. A casino with no licence from Spain sits outside that system: RGIAJ does not block you there, and a complaint goes to its licensing authority abroad.

Are mobile casinos legal in Spain?

Yes, with a licence from Spain. A casino licensed only abroad is outside that system, and its app is not on Google Play here.

In Spain, Ley 13/2011, de 27 de mayo, de regulación del juego sets the rules. RGIAJ is the national self-exclusion register: one sign-up blocks you at every casino licensed in Spain.

Check the licence on each row before you sign up. It decides the app route (Google Play for a Spanish licence, an APK or the browser otherwise) and who you complain to if a casino does not pay.

Casino APK download in Spain

Which casino apps reach Spanish phones through Google Play, which come as an APK, and how to install one without handing your phone to a fake.

Google Play: casino apps only from operators licensed in Spain

Google Play allows real-money casino apps in Spain, but only from operators that hold a licence from Spain. A casino we list that is licensed only abroad cannot publish its app there, so on Android it is an APK from the casino's own site or the site in your browser. A casino app you find on Play in Spain should come from a Spanish-licensed operator: check the licence on the store page. On iPhone it is a web app saved from Safari to the home screen.

How to install a casino APK

  1. 01 Look on Google Play first If the casino holds a licence from Spain, its app should be on Google Play. Search the casino's exact name, check the developer matches the casino, and install from there.
  2. 02 Start on the casino's own site Open the casino from this page in Chrome and use the Android download link in its menu or footer. Never take the file from a Telegram group, a file-sharing site or a "mod" page.
  3. 03 Allow this one install Android asks to let Chrome install unknown apps. Allow it for Chrome only, then switch the setting back off once the app is installed.
  4. 04 Let Play Protect scan it Keep Google Play Protect on. It checks the file as it installs and warns you if it matches known malware.
  5. 05 Check what it asks for A casino app needs internet and, at most, notifications. Refuse SMS, contacts, call log, accessibility or device admin requests: no casino needs them.
  6. 06 Sign in and set limits Log in with the account you made on the site, check that your account name matches your card, PayPal or e-wallet, and set a deposit limit before your first deposit.

Before you trust a casino APK

  • Same domain as the site The download link should sit on the casino's own domain, the one you reached from this page.
  • One file, the full app The download should be the app itself. A small file that asks to fetch more files or extra apps is a downloader: delete it.
  • Updates come from the casino Update from inside the app or from the casino's site, never from a link sent by message.
  • RGIAJ applies to you Playing while barred, as a minor or while on RGIAJ, can bring a fine of up to EUR 100,000 (arts. 41 and 42.1).
  • Browser if in doubt The casino's site in the browser runs the same games with nothing to install, and is the safer choice on a shared or work phone.

Register with the same name as on your card, PayPal or e-wallet. A name mismatch is the most common reason a withdrawal fails identity checks.

An e-wallet sits between your bank and the casino, so it often works where a card is refused. Check the withdrawal page too: not every deposit method pays out.

Casino apps in Spain: FAQ

Is there a casino APK for Spain?

For casinos licensed abroad, yes. Google Play carries casino apps in Spain only from operators licensed in Spain, so other casinos offer an APK from their own site or the site in your browser. The APK section counts how many casinos open to Spain have an Android app.

How do I download a casino app in Spain?

For a casino licensed in Spain, search its exact name on Google Play or the App Store. For any other casino, open its site from this page in Chrome, use the Android link in its menu, allow that one install, and switch the setting back off afterwards.

Is it safe to install a casino APK?

It is as safe as its source. Take the file only from the casino's own domain, keep Play Protect on, refuse SMS, contacts or accessibility permissions, and update only from inside the app. A file from a chat group or a "mod" site is the main way fake casino apps reach phones.

Are online casinos legal in Spain?

Online casinos are legal in Spain under a licence, and the market is open to any operator that meets the rules. In Spain, Ley 13/2011, de 27 de mayo, de regulación del juego sets the rules. You must be 18 or older to play online in Spain.

Does RGIAJ block casino apps?

RGIAJ is the national self-exclusion register: one sign-up blocks you at every casino licensed in Spain. It does not reach casinos licensed abroad. Playing while barred, as a minor or while on RGIAJ, can bring a fine of up to EUR 100,000 (arts. 41 and 42.1).

Can I use PayPal in a casino app?

Many casinos open to Spain list PayPal; the payments section counts how many. Register with the same name as on your PayPal account, or the withdrawal can fail identity checks.

Play only if you are 18+ and it stays fun

Casino play on a phone is quick to start and easy to continue. These four rules apply on every page of this site.

18+ only

Adults only, on every device

A phone is easy to hand to someone else. Lock the casino app or browser tab behind your device PIN or Face ID, and never save card details on a shared phone.

Speed

Short rounds add up

Crash and instant games settle a round in seconds. Set a time limit on the phone (Screen Time on iPhone, Digital Wellbeing on Android) as well as a deposit limit at the casino.

Limits

Use the casino's own tools

Look for deposit limits, time-outs and self-exclusion in the account menu, and set them before your first deposit, while it is easy.
