Roulette is a centuries-old popular game of chance, thought to have been invented in France in the late 18th century. The game is traditionally played in casino halls, and is nowadays one of the most popular mobile casino games in Laos.
The goal of the game is simple: to guess the correct number or color that the ball will stop on. The game board is divided into 37 or 38 compartments, depending on the type of roulette. The numbers on the board range from 0 to 36, but come in different colors - red and black. The double zero (00) is featured on American roulette wheels, and is green in color.
Players can place their bets by placing chips on the board. Each chip represents a single bet, and depending on the type of bet, different payouts can be expected. The most basic bet is a simple number bet, where the player guesses which number the ball will land on.
