Punto Banco is a type of baccarat popular in Ethiopia, a country known for its love of card games. It's also known as Chemin de Fer aka Chemmy. Punto Banco is a player vs bank game, and players compete against the bank to receive a higher total card value than the banker.
Each game is made of two or three hands, and the goal is to get as close to 9 as possible. The player and the dealer start with two cards each. The third card is dealt based on the total of the first two cards. The winner is the one with the highest card total, and the player can choose to ‘hit’ or ‘stand’. In the case of a tie, the banker wins.
