Pai Gow, a traditional Chinese domino game, is a popular card game in Ethiopia. The game is played using a standard deck of 52 cards plus one joker. The joker can serve as an Ace or can complete a straight, flush, or straight flush.
The game is played with two hands, with each player pitted against the dealer. Each player and the dealer receive seven cards, which are divided into two hands: a two-card low hand and a five-card high hand. The player’s goal is to beat both the dealer’s hands.
In the mobile version of Pai Gow, the two-card low hand must rank lower than the five-card high hand. If the player’s two-card low hand has a higher ranking than the five-card high hand, the player automatically loses the round. A player wins the round if they beat the dealer’s two-card low hand and the five-card high hand.
