Three Card Poker is a popular casino game that is offered in both online and land-based establishments. The main objective of the game is to beat the dealer’s hand by making the highest three card poker hand. This game is relatively easy to learn and develop a strategy.
Players are dealt three cards and the dealer is dealt three cards face-down. Three Card Poker in Zimbabwe allows you to make two bets, the Ante and the PairPlus. The Ante is the bet against the dealer’s hand while the PairPlus is the bet for your own hand.
The game starts off with player making their bet and the dealer dealing the cards. After the player looks at the cards, they can either fold or continue with their Ante bet. To continue, the player must make a Play bet of the same size as the Ante. The dealer must have a Queen or higher for the hand to qualify.
If the player’s hand is higher than the dealer’s hand, the player will be paid on their Ante and Play bet. The player will get their Ante bet back plus their Play bet multiplied by the Play bet odds. If the player’s hand is lower than the dealer’s hand, the player loses both the Ante and Play bets. The PairPlus bet remains unaffected.
The PairPlus bet will be paid regardless of the dealer’s cards. The PairPlus bet is paid based on the players’ three card hands. If the player has a pair or better then the player will be paid on the PairPlus bet. The amount of the payout depends on the rank of the hand.
