Three Card Poker is a popular variant of poker that can be played both online and at land-based casinos. In online casinos, the game plays out in real-time, directly between dealers and players. At land-based casinos, Three Card Poker is typically played against the house. The rules of Three Card Poker at mobile casinos in Thailand are similar to those in land-based casinos.
To begin playing, the player must place an Ante wager. Following this, the player and the dealer are each dealt three cards. The player must then decide whether to continue playing or fold. If the player folds, he/she forfeits the Ante. Otherwise, if the player chooses to continue playing, they must place a Play wager, at least equal to the Ante, before the cards are revealed.
Once all bets are placed, the dealer will reveal their cards. The player’s hand is compared to the dealer’s. If the dealer’s hand does not contain a Queen or higher, the Ante and Play bets push, and the player’s wager is returned.
If the dealer’s hand contains a Queen or higher, the hands are compared. If the dealer’s hand is higher than the player’s, the player loses both the Ante and Play wagers. If the player’s hand is higher than the dealer’s, the player wins the Ante and Play wager and is paid according to the pre-determined payout, which depends on the value of the hand.
