Three Card Poker, sometimes called Tri Card Poker, is a casino game that is played with a single deck of 52 cards. The game is played between the player and the dealer and involves forming the best three-card poker hand from the cards dealt. Each player is given three cards face down and the dealer has three cards face down. The players place their bets prior to being dealt their cards. The aim of the game is for the player to form the best three card poker hand from the cards dealt.
The player must first make an ante bet. This is the minimum bet that must be made by the player and the amount is usually determined by the casino. After the ante bet has been made, the player is then dealt three cards face down. The dealer then deals three cards face down. After the cards have been dealt, the player must assess the strength of his/her starting hand and decide whether to fold or stay in the game by placing another bet. If the player folds, they forfeit their ante bet. If they stay in the game, they must place an additional bet equal to their ante bet. The dealer then reveals their three cards and the most favorable hand wins.
