Mobile Three Card Poker (also known as Poker Three and Tri-Card Poker) is a casino game available on mobile casinos in Mexico. It is a variation on the popular Poker game, but relies on the use of only three cards per player. The game is usually played between the house and the player, but can occasionally be played with multiple players.
To begin a round of Three Card Poker, the player places an Ante bet, which is an initial amount that must be bet before the game can start. The cards are then dealt starting with the player and ending with the dealer. Each player receives three cards, while the dealer receives only two.
Once the cards are dealt, the player must decide whether to make a Play bet (equal to the Ante bet) or fold and forfeit the Ante bet. If the player decides to fold they will lose the bet. If the player decides to make the Play bet they must reveal their cards.
The dealer will then reveal their two cards and the outcome of the round will be decided. If the dealer does not qualify (meaning their hand does not consist of at least a Queen high), the player will be paid 1:1 on their Ante bet and the Play bet will be returned to them. If the dealer qualifies but the player has the better hand, the player will receive 1:1 on their Ante bet and the Play bet will be paid out according to a predetermined rate. If the dealer has the better hand, both bets will be lost.
