The rules of Three Card Poker in the mobile version remain the same as in the classic land-based version. The game is a variation of poker, using a standard deck of cards. The player's aim is to build a stronger poker hand than the dealer. The game is divided into two parts: ‘Ante/Play’ and ‘Pair Plus’. During the ‘Ante/Play’ part, the player must make their Ante bet in order to receive three cards. The player can then decide whether to ‘Play’ or ‘Fold’. If the player chooses to ‘Fold’, they will lose their Ante bet. If they ‘Play’, they must make an additional bet of the same size as their Ante. The dealer must then reveal their three cards, and only if the dealer’s hand has qualified (an Ace, King or higher), the player’s hand is compared against the dealer’s hand. The ‘Pair Plus’ part of the game allows the player to make a bet on the strength of their hand alone.
