Texas Holdem is a popular poker variation that has gained great traction in Swaziland's mobile casinos in recent years. As like any other version of poker, the game's objective is to win the pot with a good hand. This requires players to bet, call, raise and re-raise until the hand is won or lost. Starting with hole cards, the player has to make a best five-card hand with two hole cards and five community cards.
The game is played in two main stages - pre-flop and post-flop. In pre-flop, each participating player will be dealt two hole cards, which are private to them. Then, the player has to decide whether to check or bet. After the pre-flop betting round, the flop will be revealed, consisting of three community cards. The player will then have the option of checking or betting again. The fourth and fifth community cards, the turn and river, will then be revealed, followed by another betting round. The last betting is followed by the showdown where the player will need to make the best five-card hand.
