The version of Texas Holdem offered in Namibian mobile casinos follows the same rules as the classic Texas Holdem game. Each game is played with 2 to 10 players, who all begin with the same amount of chips. The goal of the game is to collect the most chips by the end of the game. To start the game, each player is dealt two cards (the hole cards) face down and the dealer places three community cards face up on the table (the flop).
After the flop has been dealt, players can check, call, raise, or fold. After the first round is complete, the dealer will then reveal two more community cards, called the turn and river. After the turn and river have been revealed, the players can again check, call, raise, or fold. The final round is known as the showdown, during which the player with the best five-card combination made using the two hole cards and the five community cards wins the pot.
