Texas Holdem is a variation of the Poker game that is widely played both in Greece and worldwide. It is a card game that is usually played with a group of two to ten players. The game starts with the posting of the blinds, which are forced bets. Two players are designated as the small blind (SB) and the big blind (BB). The small blind bets half of the minimum bet, while the big blind bets the minimum bet. After the blinds are posted, each player is dealt two face-down cards known as hole cards.
The first betting round then begins and the players can choose to call, raise, or fold. After the first betting round, three community cards are dealt. This is known as the flop. Another betting round begins and players can call, raise, or fold. After the second betting round, another community card is dealt. This is known as the turn. Another betting round begins and players can call, raise, or fold. Then, the final community card is dealt. This is known as the river. The fourth and the final betting round commences and players can call or raise or fold.
The last player to remain in the game or the last one who has not yet folded is named as the winner. The winner will be determined by the presence of the best five-card hand or the highest rankings of the five-card hand.
