In Taiwan, the classic game of Roulette is played in various mobile casinos using the standard European format. This means there is one zero on the wheel, giving the house a major edge. The wheel is also divided into 37 pockets, numbered from 0 through 36. Players choose to place bets on either a single number, a group of numbers, an even/odd number, a red or black number, or a low/high number.
The croupier – or dealer – then spins the wheel and drops the ball onto the spinning wheel, where it eventually lands in a pocket. Depending on where the ball lands, the casino pays out the players who had placed their bets on the winning number. Winnings are based on the odds of the bet that had been placed.
