Punto Banco is a popular game in mobile casinos in Slovenia. It is a card game where players compete with the banker to get as close as possible to 9 points. The game is also known as Baccarat. In this game, each player receives two cards, and the goal is to create a hand with a value that is closer to 9 than the banker’s hand. The cards are ranked from the lowest to the highest: 2 through 9 are worth their pip value, 10s and face cards are worth 0 points, and Aces are worth 1 point. The total value of the cards is calculated by adding all the points. If the sum is higher than 10, the value is reduced by 10. For example, a hand consisting of a 7 and a 3 will be worth 0 (7 + 3 = 10 – 10), while a hand with an Ace and a 5 is worth 6 (1 + 5 = 6).
The game consists of two phases: the bet and the draw. In the initial bet phase, the players can bet on either a Banker, a Player, or a Tie. The bet with the highest chance of winning is the Banker, followed by the Player and the Tie. After the bets are made, the dealer will deal out two cards to both the Player and Banker. The Player must then compare their hand value to the Banker’s and decide whether to draw another card or stand. Finally, the winning hand is decided based on the values of the two hands.
