Punto Banco is an easy-to-learn card game that is popular in online and mobile casinos in Egypt. The game is played between the dealer and the players, and its objective is to get as close to nine as possible. The cards are given a numerical value from 2 to 9, and 10, J, Q, and K all have a value of zero. Aces are valued at 1. The game requires two hands; the punto, which belongs to the players, and the banco, which belongs to the dealer.
The players have three betting options when playing Punto Banco: betting on the Punto, the Banco, or a Tie. Once bets are placed, the dealer will give each player two cards and the bank two cards. The cards are then added up; if there are eight or nine points, nobody will take an additional card; if there is a total less than eight points, an additional card will be drawn.
After the Punto and Banco hands are settled based on the points, the winner is decided. If the Banco wins, all bets on the Punto lose. In the event of a Tie, all bets are returned to the players. In this game, the payout for winning a Punto hand is often 1:1.
