The game of Punto Banco, also known as Baccarat, is a card game that has captivated gamblers around the world for centuries. In Bolivia, players can take part in Punto Banco in mobile casinos. In order to do so, players must learn the rules of the game.
In this game, two hands are dealt – the player's and the dealer's or banker's. Each hand consists of two or three cards. The goal is to get a hand with a sum closest to nine. All picture cards (Jack, Queen, and King) are worth 0 points and Aces are worth 1 point. Other cards from 2-9 keep their face value. If the sum of the two hands exceeds 10, then the rightmost number is taken as the result.
For example, if the player has a 5 and a 9, the total would be 14, but since the rightmost number is 4, the total is 4. Similarly, if the banker has a 4 and 6, the total is 10, but since the rightmost number is 0, the total is 0.
