Punto Banco, also known as Baccarat, is a popular card game that has been played in casinos for centuries. In Austrian mobile casinos, players will find a range of Punto Banco games available to play. The idea of the game is simple – each player is dealt 2 or 3 cards and they bet on whether the hand they are dealt will total more or less than the dealer’s hand.
The game is divided into two stages. The first stage is the Punto, where players must decide whether to place a bet on Punto (player) or Banco (banker). Players can also make an additional bet on the Tie. The second stage is the Banco, where the dealer deals out the cards.
The main objective of the game is to get a hand where the combined value of the cards totals closest to 9. If the total value of either the player’s or the banker’s hand equals 9, no more cards are dealt out and the winner is declared. If the total value is less than 9, each player is dealt additional cards until the total value is 9 or higher.
