Pai Gow Poker is a popular variation of the classic Chinese domino game Pai Gow. Originating in the 1980s in the United States, it has gained immense popularity and is now commonly found in casinos across the world, including mobile casinos in Switzerland. In this version of the game, players compete against the house (banker) instead of one another.
Players in Switzerland require 7 cards to play Pai Gow Poker. The rules of the game require the player to form two separate hands – a low hand of five cards and a high hand of two cards – from those dealt. The banker follows the same rules as the players. The ideal objective is to have both the high and low hand rank higher than the banker’s hands. If the player succeeds, they will be paid according to the wager they placed.
