Pai gow (also known as double-hand poker) is a classic casino game, typically played with a set of Chinese dominoes. In Chile, the mobile version of the game follows the same rules as the traditional version with some slight variations.
To start, you’ll need to place a bet and be dealt seven cards. The goal is to combine these seven cards into two separate hands - one consisting of five cards and the other with two. The five-card hand is called the “High” and the two-card hand the “Low.” After forming the two hands, the player is required to compare them with the hands of the dealer to see which is stronger. In Chile, the mobile version of Pai Gow is played against the dealer, with all players sharing the same seven cards.
For the High hand, any poker combination from two-pair to a straight flush is possible. For the Low hand, only combinations of one pair or better are accepted. Once the hands are compared, if the player’s hands beat the dealer’s hands, they will be paid even money. If both the player’s and dealer’s hands match, the bet is a push.
