Mahjong, commonly referred to as ‘Chinese solitaire’ is a game of skill, strategy and calculation involving 4 players. It is usually played with sets of 144 tiles. At Polish mobile casinos, Mahjong is slightly different from traditional Mahjong as it is played with only 72 tiles. The players are tasked with assembling tiles in specific patterns, to score points. The rules of Mahjong at Polish mobile casinos are as follows:
- There are three suits in the game: Circles (or Coins), Bamboo and Characters
- There are 4 Wind tiles and 4 Flower/Season tiles in the game
- Out of the 72 tiles, 24 are numbered and the remaining 48 are honor tiles
- The aim of the game is to assemble 4 melds (a set of 3 or 4 tiles) and one pair of matching tiles
- Players can also ‘steal’ tiles from other players’ sequences to form their sequences
- The player with the most number of points at the end wins
