Mahjong is a tile-based game usually played by 4 players. It is one of the most popular board games in the world, having originated in China and Japan. Although the rules of Mahjong can be slightly different depending on where it is being played, there are some general rules that remain consistent across all versions.
As a two-player version of the game, Mahjong Mobile is played by two players with a set of 144 tiles. The game is divided into 4 different suits, which are divided into various groups of related numbers and symbols. The tiles are shuffled and arranged face down, then each player takes 16 tiles. The players then take turns to draw and discard tiles until one of them has a section of tiles that matches up with one of the winning patterns or until the game is blocked, in which case the game is a draw. Mahjong Mobile follows the same basic rules as the traditional Mahjong, with the exception of the number of players and the order of the tiles.
