Craps ranks among the most popular casino games in Mauritius, and the game is now available in all its glory on mobile devices as well. In this version of the game, a single player is expected to challenge the Banker by placing bets.
The mobile version of craps begins with the banker rolling two dice, each with a face value of 1 to 6, which are collectively referred to as the “come out” roll. If the dice total comes out to 2, 3 or 12, it is considered a loss for the player, referred to as “craps”. On the other hand, if the total equals 8 or 9, it is called a “natural” and the banker wins. If the total turns out to be 7 or 11, the player wins.
In the event of any other number appearing on the dice, the banker sets a “point”. The game continues with the banker rolling the dice in an attempt to hit the set “point” before rolling a 7. If this happens, the player wins the round. Should the 7 appear before the “point”, the banker wins.
Players can also place various side bets in the Mauritius’ version of mobile craps, including wagers on the “pass line” and “don’t pass line”.
