Blackjack is an extremely popular and easy-to-learn game, and it's no surprise that it is well-represented among the mobile casino offerings in Trinidad & Tobago. The basic rules of blackjack in a mobile casino are the same as they are at a physical gaming table: the goal of the game is for the player to end up with a hand that is closer to 21 than the dealer’s hand.
In blackjack, numbered cards have their face value (e.g. a five of hearts is worth five points). Jacks, queens, and kings are valued at 10, while an Ace can be worth either one or 11, depending on what is beneficial in the situation. To start the game, each player is dealt two cards, face up. The dealer is dealt two cards, the first face up, and the second face down. The players then decide whether to “Hit” or “Stand”.
A “Hit” means that the player requests an additional card from the dealer. If the player has gone over 21 in an attempt to get closer to 21, they bust and the dealer collects their bet. If the player has not gone over 21, they can still choose to “Stand” and decide to stay with the current cards they have. Once all players have hit or stood, the dealer then reveals their hole card and determines their score. The dealer must hit until they reach 17 and then must stand. If the player’s total is closer to 21 than the dealer’s total, the player wins their bet.
