Like the traditional version of Blackjack, the mobile version of this popular game in Norway is simple yet entertaining. In this game, the player competes against the dealer or the house, attempting to reach a score of 21 points, or as close to 21 as possible, without exceeding it.
The player starts by receiving two cards, while the dealer is also dealt two cards, one face up and one face down. The player can then choose to ‘Hit’ (get another card), ‘Stand’ (stick with his two cards and wait for the dealer’s turn), or ‘Split’ (divide his two cards into two separate hands if both cards are of the same rank). If the player draws an ace and a card of 10 or a picture card, he or she is automatically declared a winner.
If the player and the dealer have the same score, the player receives the amount wagered back. Insurance is also available, which is an even-money payout if the dealer has an ace card facing up.
