Mobile baccarat is a popular game amongst mobile casino players in Mauritius. Generally, the game uses a full 8-deck deck of cards, with players betting on either the player, the banker, or a tie. The goal of the game is to correctly predict which of the three hands (player, banker, or tie) will achieve the highest score. The maximum number of players in the game is nine, including the dealer.
When playing mobile baccarat in Mauritius, the player and the banker are dealt two cards each, with the player’s cards being dealt face up and the banker’s cards being dealt face down. If either the player or the banker have a score of 8 or 9, this is known as a “natural” win and no additional cards will be dealt. If both the player and the banker have a natural win, the hand is a tie.
If neither the player or the banker have a natural win, then additional cards are dealt according to standard baccarat rules. The player will always act first and, depending on the resulting score, the banker may receive a third card. The winning hand is the one which has the highest total point count.
