The mobile version of baccarat follows the same rules as its traditional counterpart. Depending on the variant, mobile baccarat is played between two hands - the 'player' and the 'banker' - and sometimes with several players participating per hand. The object of the game is to have the total value of your hand as close to nine as possible.
Each hand consists of two or three cards. The players then choose whether the 'player' or the 'banker' will have an additional card. The value of each hand is determined by the total value of the cards. The cards with a face value (ace to nine) are counted according to their face value. The 10, Jack, Queen and King are all worth zero. The total value of each hand is calculated by adding up the values of the individual cards and removing the tens digit.
For example, if the total value of the cards dealt is 16, it would be counted as 6 (by removing the tens digit). If either hand exceeds a total of nine, then only the second digit is counted.
