The objective of Baccarat is to get a card hand that is closest to 9. There are three types of bets in Baccarat: Player, Banker or Tie. Players have two cards each, with the third one being the Banker. After the cards are dealt, the total is calculated by adding the numbers of the face cards together, with 10 and face cards being 0. Ace is worth 1.
If either the Player or Banker has an 8 or 9 and the other does not, then the one with the higher value automatically wins. A third card can be drawn in certain situations. If the Player's total is less than or equal to 5, then the Player draws a card, and if the Player does not draw, then the Banker can draw if their total is 5 or less.
